Susette Yi-Ries is a highly regarded partner at Amaro Baldwin LLP, bringing over 22 years of legal experience to the firm. She joined the firm in January 2023 and has since made a significant impact, leveraging her expertise in workers' compensation defense litigation and subrogation.

Ms. Yi-Ries graduated from the University of California at Los Angeles with a degree in Psychology and an emphasis in Business. She then went on to earn her Juris Doctorate from the University of Arizona School of Law in 1995. While attending law school, Ms. Yi-Ries clerked for the District Attorneys Office as well as a Municipal Court Judge.

After being admitted to the California State Bar in 1996, Ms. Yi-Ries began her legal career practicing civil litigation, handling cases in estates and trust, real estate, personal injury and family law matters. Since 2000, Ms. Yi-Ries’ practice has primarily focused on workers' compensation defense litigation and subrogation, while at Prindle, Goetz, Barnes & Reinholtz LLP where she was partner since 2005.

Ms. Yi-Ries is well-versed in all aspects of workers' compensation litigation and civil subrogation matters and appears in all courts in Northern and Southern California. She is a skilled and strategic litigator, known for her dedication to achieving the best possible outcome for her clients.

In addition to her legal work, Ms. Yi-Ries has also done pro bono work for the Alliance for Children's Rights, highlighting her commitment to giving back to the community. Her experience, dedication, and commitment to her clients make her an invaluable member of the Amaro Baldwin LLP team.
