Carshena Culmer serves as "of counsel" at Amaro Baldwin, specializing in the adept defense of workers' compensation claims, 132a petitions, serious and willful misconduct petitions, and related matters presented before the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board. Admitted to the California State Bar in 2017, Ms. Culmer brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her legal practice.

A distinguished alumna of The Pennsylvania State University, Ms. Culmer holds undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Communications, Arts, and Sciences. She furthered her legal education at Southwestern Law School, where she earned her Juris Doctor. During her time in law school, Ms. Culmer served as the competition chair of the Negotiations Honors Program, showcasing her exceptional skills in negotiating complex cases—an attribute that continues to be a valuable asset to our firm.

With a focus on the litigation of workers' compensation claims, Ms. Culmer has garnered extensive experience appearing before the WCAB for Trials and Conferences. She also has substantial experience defending workers' compensation claims in Alternative Dispute Resolution Carve-Out programs. Her proficiency extends to taking and defending depositions, and she is known for her ability to secure favorable settlements for our clients through skilled negotiation.
